Flights

 We had some craziness waiting in the Phoenix airport waiting for our flight. First the plane was delayed a hour because of a mechanical issue. Then after we boarded and took our seats, we had to wait another hour! And then then told us that we had to get off the plane and re-board another plane at a different terminal. After finally getting to Houston, I got to see Ale again for a few hours.

We went to this awesome restaurant in downtown Houston on Saturday night.

Houston was super crazy to navigate, I blame Ale's GPS... but we survived.







After waiting in the Mexico City airport for about 7 hours, I finally arrived in Oaxaca yesterday afternoon.

So far Oaxaca is beautiful and green! It has been raining all night and all this morning so far, almost like I never left Washington. Here is Oaxaca from the plane.

Leaving tomorrow

Honestly, I'm pretty terrified. The past couple weeks I've been saying a lot of good-byes and hearing a lot of have funs... and I know I will. Its just hard to leave comfort, especially knowing that I'll be coming back changed in someway.

But... I am excited to keep this blog while I'm gone so all my friends and family can see what I'm up to!
